About Bennett A. Kogan, CPA
Bennett A. Kogan, CPA, graduated from SUNY Albany in 1996 with a BS in Accounting. For over 25 years, Bennett has garnered experience while working at small and mid-size regional public accounting firms. During this time, he fine-tuned his skills in all facets of accounting, auditing, and taxation, as well as management advisory services. Mr. Kogan has provided accounting and tax services for sole proprietors, partnerships, and corporations, in addition to audit and review services for private companies, including a $300 million healthcare company, small public companies, and everything in between. He has also worked in private accounting, as a Controller at a multi-million dollar landscape construction company, which helped him gain great insight into the inner workings of a business.
He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey, and South Carolina. Mr. Kogan stays current with tax laws and on the cutting edge of technology through his affiliations with the AICPA and NYSSCPA, always surpassing the mandatory, minimum required 40 hours of continuing professional education each year.
Bennett resides in Aiken, SC with his family and dog. He spends his free time with his family and pursuing outdoor recreational activities.
